This Privacy Policy applies to all Simp AS (Simp) services (including but not limited to simp.no, openwifi.simp.no, facebook.com/simpwifi) and explains how personal information is collected, used, described, and protected by Simp.
Information Simp Collects
Submitted Information
This includes the information a User provides at login, such as a social media account or the details provided on a form. This may include email, phone number, date of birth, name, address and/or likes.
Additional Information
The information of the websites a User visits, the transactions a User makes and responses to any of the surveys we send to a User, as well as communication before, during or after a User’s visit/event. We do not collect any information used to make financial transactions.
Device Information
Information about a User’s which device a user uses (mobile phone, tablet, laptop, etc)
Location Information
If location tracking is enabled, Simp collects information on where in the venue a User has been.
Network Information
Simp collects information from a User’s device related to IP addresses, internet service providers, clickstream data, browser type, language, viewed and exited pages, and date and time stamps.
Cookies
Cookies Information
Simp uses Cookies like a website would: to enable Simp to distinguish a User from other Users, to improve Simp’s service, and to provide more targeted communication. The data collected could include IP-addresses, access times, browser types, languages, operating systems, and URLs.
Analytics & Remarketing
Simp may use (including, but not limited to) -Google Analytics to analyze User behavior, Google AdWords and/or Facebook Pixel for remarketing.
Data Storage
Data are stored on our own secure servers in accordance with local regulations. If a User does not login to a Simp-enabled venue for more than 60 months, all personally identifiable data we store about that User is deleted.
Password Security
Simp service uses, included but not limited Facebook, google, email or login with phone number as login option. All services through third party integrations have sole responsibility for user security and user password. A User should inform Simp immediately if that User suspects that Simp services have been abused. It is important to note that Simp will never will ask for a User’s password by phone or e-mail.
Data Usage
A User’s data may be used to understand how that User interacts with a particular venue, to conduct surveys, for communication purposes, and/or to offer a User relevant goods and services via electronic communication channels (primarily but not limited to E-mail and SMS).
Who May Utilize a User’s Data
A User’s data may be used by Simp, owners of the Simp-enabled venues a User has visited or through selected third parties to improve communication.
User data may also be provided to regulatory bodies where we legally-obligated to do so, to protect Simp’s own rights, or if Simp believes someone’s safety is at risk.
Simp may share personal information in connection with an acquisition, merger or sale of all or a significant part of Simp’s business, with or to another company. In such cases, a User will receive notification if that User’s data are transferred and subject to another significant privacy policy.
No Information from Minors Under 13 Years Old
If a User is younger than 13 years old, that User must not register for Simp’s services or provide personal information to us. If Simp determines that it has collected personal information from a minor, Simp will delete this information.
Changes to Privacy Policy
Simp may change a User’s Privacy Policy from time to time. If Simp makes any changes to the Privacy Policy, Simp will inform the User by posting the revised Privacy Policy at openwifi.simp.no. These changes will take effect on the "Last Updated" date shown in the revised Privacy Policy. The User agrees to the revised Privacy Policy by continuing to use SIMP Services.
Accessing User Data
A User can access and amend the data Simp holds on that User at any time by accessing a customized
User Transparency Portal.

Please contact personvern@simp.no, and mention which specific location you would like to examine, or; check the bottom line of any received email from the location, or; contact the specific location directly.
You will receive a link that will provide access to your customized User Transparency Portal.
